New Feature: Average Days to Pay

by Andy Johnson in News & Updates

You're sending an invoice to a client and wondering, "How long will it take them to pay?" Wonder no more with our new Average Days to Pay feature! Here's how it works:

When viewing the Client Details screen for any client you'll see a new "Average Days to Pay" stat displayed within the details summary bar:

Based on the client's history Harpoon calculates how many days (on average) it takes the client to make a full payment on their invoices.

This can come in handy when trying to predict cashflow timing. It might also influence your payment terms with certain clients.

For example, if you notice a client has an unusually high number for their Average Days to Pay you might decide to decrease the length of time payment is due on their invoices, which would trigger their automated payment reminder emails sooner rather than later.

Whatever actions you might decide to take, we hope this feature provides some helpful insight into the billing behavior of your clients.
