How do I customize the line item categories on my invoices?
When creating a line item on your invoices or estimates you have the ability to select a category from the "Item" menu for each line item.
You can customize this list of categories via the "Line Item Categories" interface found on your Invoice Settings screen.
Here you'll see Harpoon's default list of categories, but you can also add your own new, custom categories.
Deleting categories from the list won't affect any existing invoices or estimates that use those deleted categories. A deleted category simply won't appear as an option for any newly created invoices or estimates.
Note: Harpoon's default list of categories are locked and cannot be deleted. This is because the default categories are tied to other features in Harpoon.
